San Francisco Viewpoint
The peak of San Francisco is an exceptional viewpoint at the mouth of the Miño and allows for an almost complete panoramic view.
The peak of San Francisco is the highest point of Mount Santa Trega at 341 meters and offers unbeatable panoramic views. Its name refers to its orientation to the mouth of the Miño, to the islet of A Insua where the Franciscan monks lived. At this height there is parking for vehicles and buses, hospitality establishments, the chapel of Santa Trega, the MASAT and in the highest area a petroglyph.
Settlement of Santa Trega
It was discovered in 1913 and for decades archaeological excavations were carried out that confirm the importance of this fort in the fortified culture.
