Santa Trega Way of the Cross
The great religious tradition on Mount Santa Trega is shown with the two existing Via Crucis as well as several cruises.
The most artistic Via Crucis was devised by the Pro Monte Society in the 1920s to replace the existing. This was simpler and dated to the 16th and 17th centuries, which was finally not withdrawn.The Valencian sculptor, Julio Vicent y Mengual, designed the project of large artistic crosses and a bronze medallion with scenes of the different steps of Calvary.
