Rupestrian Saltworks
In several locations at the mouth of the Miño there are rock saltworks, which were stones with hollows to obtain sea salt in small quantities.
The rock salt pans studied are located in the rest area of O Puntal and around the access to the Residence for the Elderly where an interesting group is grouped. Like the Roman saltworks, these salt pans were used to obtain sea salt from the evaporation of sea water. The difference is the amount achieved, with the rock salt mine having a possible more domestic or family use.
