Sandy area of A Ribeira
The accumulation of sand in recent years has created a recreation place inside the port.
In the place of A Ribera there was a small sandy area where boats were beached and at the end of the 19th century. XIX it was transformed into a stone dock. At the beginning of the 2000s, a comprehensive improvement of the port was carried out, which involved the removal of this stone slipway and over the years the A Ribera sandy area was recovered. Currently it is a recreation area for residents.
South dock and fish market
A Guarda still preserves inshore fishing and on the southern dock or pier you can find the fish market, the boats and the sailors in their daily lives.
