At the end of the promenade and next to the painted north dock, there is a watchtower or circular fortress rebuilt in 1997, the original dating back to the 16th century. This watchtower houses the Museum of the Sea with a display of ancient fishing gears. It also has a small malacological exhibition, a selection of sea shells from all over the world.
South dock and fish market
