Route through the fishing port

South dock and fish market
A Guarda still preserves inshore fishing and on the southern dock or pier you can find the fish market, the boats and the sailors in their daily lives.
The southern dock was built at the beginning of the 20th century and it is here where you can observe the sailors' daily tasks, their arrival at port, the boats and fishing gears they use. The fish market is located on this dock and can be visited on weekdays from 4:30 p.m. to observe the auction of fish or barnacle catches depending on the season.
